It is either the port or the interrupt circuit

Now check for 48v on the blue wire coming from the port with the charger disconnected.

If the blue wire has 48v the interrupt is bad part # 996342001

If you don't have 48v the charge port is bad.

Scott Cunningham yes you can.

Some people that have done conversions have permanently bypassed it.
