My mother recons she was about 14 when it was taken which would mean the photo was taken about 1936. As to were it ws taken I don't know. As you can see their are a lot of people in it. My Grandmother who has since passed on got a bit crankey in her old age and scatched her face off all photos of herself. Her name was Lillian Hancock. She is towards the top right of the photo. The only one with her face scratched out.

To the right of her is her husband, my Grandfather, Edward Hancock, holding a young child in white with a white hat on. The child is either my Aunty Gwen, Gwen Hancock then, now Gwen Fella, or my Aunty Lois, Lois Hancock now Lois Horan.

Diagonally two left down from my Grandmother, is my Mother then Rita Hancock, Now Rita Greig. She is wearing a scarf that look like a tie.

My mothers Aunty Flo, her brother and an Aunty from the other side of the family are also in the photo. I don't know which one is the brother.

Julie Lillie writes: If 1936, the young child dressed in white that Edward James HANCOCK is holding would be Gwen FELLA (nee HANCOCK) who was born in 1934, would be aged around 2. Lois would be 5 years old when this photo was taken. The auntie from the other side Auntie Rosie is Rose Mary Ann BUDGE, Lily's sister. Uncle Ed, is Rita's brother Edward Horace HANCOCK.
