Summary

  • Only correspond with sellers via the eBay system. NEVER user sellers email address
  • Only deal with sellers that have a 99% feed back rating and have many feed backs. Anything less is bad because of the way the eBay feed back rating system works
  • Change the feedback to show negative reviews an read them. The default is to only show positive reviews.
  • Look for other sellers that have the same of similar described items, and check out ther reviews, you may find it's actually the same seller. The bad sellers spread around ther risk of bad feed back and getting kicked off eBay
  • If what you get is not was described, follow the eBay return and get a refund process. Otherwise the bad sellers will continue on Ebay
  • Do not believe anything the seller writes to you, without checking it out on the eBay website

Initial queries before I ordered the Bike

On EBay I asked the following:

“Your previous message

Is the motor rated at 1000 watts or is that just the model motor code, that is 1000w? I ask because usually the hub for 1000 watt moters is bigger than what you show in the photos.”

And got this reply as an email on 13 Sept 2024, 6:11 pm

“Dear friends

thank you for you email agian,It is rated power:1000w,so would you please don't worry, if you ok, Our price is the lowest on the Internet, you can check it, if you ok,we will ship to you from sydney Or Melbourne , or you can pick up it, and We offer free returns and exchanges, and We guarantee the quality for three years, best regard Lilly”

On 22 Sept 2024, 8:14 pm I received a reply to my question “Does it come with a battery charger?

Gef”,

that being:

“Dear friends

thank you for you email agian, yes, the item include the charge and battery, so please don't worry, We are a manufacturer, so We offer free returns and exchanges, and We guarantee the quality for three years, best regard Lilly”

What I ordered

Based on this information and the description and other information on eBay's site I orded the bike and recieved this email from eBay:

In addition to the order confirmation I received from eBay I also received, via an email from eBay, this:

Battery is 36 Volt 7.6 Ah but eBay description says 48 Volt 10.4 Ah or in the icon, 16Ah. See next photo.

The motor showing all markings. Nothing to indicate it is 1000 watts. But with the 36 volt battery and controler it could not be 1000 watts

Feedback I put on Ebay

Based on the above photos and that I was not getting anywhere with the seller I put this on Ebay feedback

“Bike I received was not as described: The name was not Fold. It was not 48V, The Battery is smaller than described The battery is not removable The motor is not 1000W The Charger connection did not fit the bike I contacted them and requested a replacement charger. Was given a Tracking number that shows the charger has never left them Numerous emails resulted in non understandably replies Used an excuse not to have voice conversation that they did not has a ps I have requested a FULL refund a”

They said they would only give a refund if I removed the negative feedback. Which is a breach of eBay's User agreement. I refused to remove the feedback.

If you are the same Darren, then I left negative feedback on Ebay because:

1 You have not responded to the email I sent to you yesterday where I asked for a full refund.

2. You have used the excuse “ I can't open the zoom, becsae I don't have ps”,even though I said you can use a phone, when I wished to speak to you. I can not understand a lot of your writing. As an example you said “ps” above. I don't know if you mean a PC (Personal Computer)

3. I keep checking the tracking number you gave me for the replacement charger ,MP0047505898. I checked it again now, it still shows as:

“Sydney, Packed by sender, The sender is packing your parcel and is now completing the final steps to prepare it for pickup. Aramex is awaiting the pick-up confirmation request.

2024-09-30 19:16,”

And you keep asking me to wait. I have waited 9 days and it still has not left your premises.

4. I have an ebike that I cannot use as an ebike as I cannot charge it.

5. As per my feedback on Ebay, I paid for the bike as described on Ebay and the bike you sent me is NOT anything like what was described on Ebay.

6. Most of the questions I have asked you, you have not answered..

7. I wish to tell other eBay users of the EXTREMELY BAD experience I have had dealing with wonderlandshop-one where my problem has not been resolved by you.

I have been communicating with you for 12 days with no resolution by you

During those communications I have told you it is not the correct bike and also the charger plug does not fit the charger connection. You said you would send a new charger, you keep saying wait 2-5 days but I have been waiting 9 days for the correct charger to be sent. The Tracking says that the courier is still waiting for the pick up request from your company.

You have offered a discount or refund. You asked me what discount I would like. I cannot tell you the discount amount until I can charge the bike and ride it, but you still have not sent the charger.

You keep saying, many times, you will resolve the problem, but you have done nothing.

Because you are not communicating with me and as I have tried to resolve this for over 12 days, I must ask for a refund.

I asked for a refund yesterday and I have not heard back from you.

I feel you are just avoiding the problem. That is why I left that feedback on Ebay. I am not happy and you keep delaying the resolution of the problem.

Again, please refund me as you have offered. You collect the bike at your expense.
