Before we went overseas, but we will train it so it creates a verandah effect.
Marg in Reserve at Back
Went for a walk a few days after arriving home from overseas. Walk a circuit of Forestdale and bought a lemonade icy pole at the shops. The plants, pool and property were in excellent condition when we got home.
Geoff and doomed Cocos Palm
One more Cocos Palm to bite the dust. We have about 10 more to do. Luckily we had a hard rubbish collection this week, so got rid of the last lot.
Marg at Forest Lake Sept 09
Went to Forest Lake markets. Found a car space with a bit of shade near the entrance and then found many more shady spaces closer in. We got there at 9.15am and were used to getting there later when car parks are scarcer. Had a good couple of hours and come home, without the plants I went to get in the first place.
Dust Storm Forestdale and palm cut down
23/9/09 : Wind blowing a gale and rare for Forestdale. Dust storm has come up from SA/Nthn Vic/NSW. Thought it was brown fog.
