MG car tyre pressure monitoring system problem

Had a message come up that their was a fault in tyre pressure monitoring system TPMS, and to check the manual. Manual said to take it to the dealer. I Did so. Dealer said they reprogrammed the TPMS. Fault fixed.

A few days later the same message comes up again. Back to the dealer, who again reprograms the TPMS. The dealer also reports in ther documentation:

“a tec case will have to be carried out and the car needs to stay here for at least three days”.

I asked why they require the car for 3 days. The dealer admin staff say, because they have to ask MG what to do and then do it. If that does not work they again ask MG, and so it goes on.

I asked who knows how to fix the car, MG or the dealer. She said both.

I have said the 3 days is unacceptable to me and that If they can't fix the problem in one day I will bring the car back on subsequent days.

Is anyone else having to leave the car with a dealer for multiple days for similar simple issues?
