The computer has a blue tooth dongle on it because it does not have built it Blue tooth. The Blue tooth software pairs with the phone to receive the GPS Data. The Computer version of Ozexplorer runs on the computer set to receive the GPS data via Blue tooth. It all works except when a big map is loaded on the phone so using up most of the phones memory such that Android shuts down the App that sends the GPS data to the computer. That App has to be restarted. We have learnt not to use the 1:250K map of all Australia on the phone because it is over 3 GB.
