We Provide Technology training for Senior people in the Logan area in Brisbane Australia
The aim of this promotional video is four fold. It is to:
LOCOTA (logan Area Committee on the Ageing) is a not for profit community based organisation that was established in 1982 and had connected mature aged people:
Over 20,000 seniors attend our centre annually.
One way we do this is by providing Seniors, technology training (show classroom with voice over)
This is usually done by senior Volunteers for seniors
Our Aim is to give seniors confidence in using modern technology in a relaxed and friendly environment. Classes range from one on one training through to a maximum of 8 people, But usually 6 to ensure each person receives the attention they need from the tutor

Also LACOTA runs the Broadband for Seniors (BFS) program
Broadband for Seniors is funded by the Australian Government to provide senior Australians, aged 50 years and over, with free access to computers, Internet and basic training to help build their confidence in using new technology. Sometimes we introduce our students to Australia wide Webinars (live seminars that are presented over the internet) as well as online training that is available from around the world conducted by world experts from prestigious institutions
The technology we teach revolves around Computers, Ipads and Iphones, Mobile Phones, Digital Cameras and mobile devices.
Other that how to use these devices we show seniors how they are used in our modern society
