Brisbane River from the Bridge that goes to Queensland Uni. Only a bit flooded but notice the dedris which latger resulted in the city cats services being stoped

Down where the creek at the back of our place goes under Paradise Rd. This is usally a large grassed area

When we Drove down to Northern NSW to stay the week end with Mary & Jim at Cabarita Beach after turning off the Pacific Highway towards the Beach we were confronted with this water over the road (Photo taken after we got through). We would have had to go back to the Hgy and drive North another 10 Km to then drive back south 10 km. However a CFA truch drove through the water towards us. We asked them it it would be ok for us to drive through the water. They said ok. Marg remember that we could raise the cars suspension (I forgot about it) so we drove through without geting a drop of water in the car, or it stalling
